Overview

In this high impact role, you will lead recruitment for a portfolio of physicians and advanced practice providers across a wide range of inpatient and outpatient specialties. Your work will directly support patient access, clinical operations, and strategic growth initiatives across Legacy Health, helping ensure our communities receive the care they need today and into the future. Partnering closely with operational, physician, and executive leaders, you will play a key role in building the workforce that advances our mission and supports Legacy’s most important priorities.

As a member of a small collaborative team of provider recruiters, supported by a dedicated Talent Acquisition Operations team, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing and engagement through offer acceptance. You'll build strong relationships with candidates and leaders, develop proactive recruitment plans, maintain talent pipelines, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders across the organization, contribute to workforce strategy discussions, and help shape the talent solutions that support the future of healthcare delivery at Legacy.

Work Environment & Travel

All work must be performed in Oregon and/or Washington. This position requires occasional on-site presence for candidate interviews, site visits, meetings, and recruitment-related events. Flexibility to meet with candidates and Legacy partners outside of standard business hours, including early mornings or evenings, may be required.



Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business administration, or related field, or equivalent applicable experience required.
  • Professional certification in specialty area preferred.
  • May be replaced by equivalent years of experience/ combination of clinical, marketing, sales or related business and industry experience.

Experience:

  • Five years of recent human resource experience to include recruiting, interviewing and assessing candidates, advertising design and placement, and development of proactive sourcing strategies.
  • Experience in a fast paced, high volume, complex, consultative recruitment function.
  • Must be able to demonstrate success with difficult recruits, effective recruitment and retention strategies, and developing behavior-based questions.
  • Three years of physician and advanced practice provider recruitment experience in a hospital system strongly preferred.

Skills:

  • Skilled in complex consulting and interacting effectively with all levels within and outside the Legacy community, including ability to guide and influence in sensitive situations.
  • Strong organizational skills problem-solving, written and verbal communication and customer service skills. Strong negotiation, presentation and public relations/public speaking skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment under pressure of deadlines.
  • Strategic analysis and strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose complex staffing issues. Solid experience consulting with senior leaders and handling complex physician, advanced practice provider and leadership level recruitments.
  • Experienced in conducting references, negotiating and closing offers.
  • Proficiency using social media tools required.
  • Knowledge of staffing/HR compliance regulations required.
  • Must possess competency with Microsoft Office products, applicant tracking systems, Lawson and/or other HR/Payroll database.
  • Working knowledge of all HR functional areas with an emphasis on EEOC requirements, state labor laws, immigration requirements, and ADA.
  • Ability to analyze and trend employment data, evaluate and apply in decision making.
