Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Clerk to maintain and support the company’s document management system. The ideal candidate will ensure that all project and company-related documents are accurately recorded, categorized, stored, maintained, and readily accessible to the appropriate teams.

The Document Control Clerk will play a key role in supporting compliance, improving document management efficiency, and ensuring that documentation is properly controlled throughout its lifecycle. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform word processing and repetitive data entry functions as required.Download, upload, scan, photocopy, collate, and print documents.Maintain and update manual and computerized filing systems.Maintain revision control and archive physical and electronic documents as necessary.Index, organize, and retrieve printed physical documents.Periodically audit specification and engineering drawing revisions to ensure documentation is current and accurate.Update specifications and drawings and generate Specification Change Notices (SCNs) as required.Oversee workflows associated with FCI internal document releases and revisions.Work with the FCI document control software program to ensure proper control of documents and associated information.Ensure the most recent revision of controlled documents is available to the appropriate departments in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.Maintain accurate records and documentation to support quality and audit requirements.Control and maintain a variety of physical and electronic documents, including engineering drawings and orders, mylars and mylar scans, customer and industry specifications, certification records, lab reports, production records, work instructions/QAPs, quality forms, change notices, training content, and associated training records.Collaborate with internal departments to ensure documents are properly controlled, updated, and accessible.May perform other related duties as required by the company.Qualifications/Experience:

Relevant experience in aerospace or a related field.Knowledge of ISO 9001 or equivalent regulations.Ability to read and understand specifications, engineering blueprints, and technical documents.Strong organizational skills with the ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and resolve problems.Ability to work independently and effectively within established time constraints.Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and similar software applications.Experience with computerized document management systems is an asset.Experience with SQL or other database systems is an asset.Direct experience handling various document media, including paper drawings, mylars, vellum, X-rays, and other physical and electronic documentation.Previous experience liaising with customers and vendors is an asset.Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing, entering, updating, and maintaining documentation.Ideal Candidate:
