What You'll Do

As a Residential Specialist, you will:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, meal preparation, and daily living activities.
• Support individuals in achieving personal goals, building independence, and participating in meaningful community activities.
• Provide companionship, encouragement, emotional support, and person-centered care that promotes dignity and respect.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment while following individualized support plans and goals.

QualificationsRequired:• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid Driver's License
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide hands-on support and physical assistance when needed
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:• Experience in healthcare, human services, psychology, education, nursing, social work, caregiving, or related fields
Schedule

• Full-Time
• Flexible schedule based on program needs
• Evening, weekend, and holiday hours may be required
• Additional shifts may be available based on program needs

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist individuals as needed
• Ability to provide physical assistance and hands-on support when necessary
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
