- Establish a culture of continuous improvement where teams actively identify issues, solve problems, and take ownership of results.
- Proven leadership experience within the transport, logistics, freight, or a closely related operational environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex operations and leading teams through significant organisational or operational change.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets, costs, profitability, and ideally full P&L responsibility.
- A track record of improving operational performance, productivity, service delivery, and customer outcomes.
- Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to build high-performing teams and develop leaders at different levels.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety and the ability to establish a proactive safety culture.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to align diverse teams and influence business decisions.
- Strong accountability and decision-making skills, with a hands-on, results-oriented approach to leadership.
- Resilience, adaptability, and a genuine appetite for transformation and continuous improvement.
- A collaborative, inclusive leadership style that brings people together while maintaining high standards of performance.
- Candidates who are motivated by improving established operations and delivering measurable results will be particularly well suited to this opportunity.
- Competitive salary positioned above industry standards.
- High-impact leadership role with significant ownership, visibility, and influence over branch performance.
- Opportunity to lead a major operational integration and shape a high-performing team and culture.
- Upskilling, training, mentoring, and career-development opportunities.
- Flexible working arrangements, including work-from-home options where appropriate.
- Employee perks, discounts, and practical benefits.
- Inclusive parental leave supporting all parents and carers.
- Peer-recognition awards celebrating outstanding contributions.
- Opportunity to relocate to sunny Queensland and combine a senior leadership career with an attractive lifestyle.
- Inclusive workplace committed to supporting people of diverse backgrounds, identities, abilities, and experiences.
- Opportunity to contribute to the transformation of the transport and logistics industry and broader environmental, social, and governance objectives.
