As a big name and pioneer in power solutions, we’re not just part of the power conversation – we’re shaping its future, and we’re doing so across diverse industry sectors including healthcare, data centers, entertainment, education, government, and commercial construction – just to name a few! We’re committed to growing and evolving our product lineup to stay on top of the game and that includes leaning into sustainable, resilient, and renewable energy solutions.

Our cutting-edge headquarters in Faribault, MN, is partially solar and wind-powered by our own microgrid! You’ll find that we’re also pushing boundaries across the country at our additional facilities in Houston, TX; Merrimack, NH; Waukesha, WI; & in Montreal, QC. Together, we are Trystar, where we power the future and nurture innovation for a brighter tomorrow.

Trystar's team members are our most important asset, and we are seeking a Senior Change Management Specialist (CMS) to join our team and support our enterprise-wide operations. As a member of the Engineering-to-Order (ETO) organization and owner of the ECR/ECO/ECN process, the CMS will drive the evolution of Trystar's engineering change management framework by establishing process discipline, eliminating bottlenecks, standardizing workflows, and implementing scalable solutions that support business growth, improve schedule adherence, and enhance operational performance.

This role is expected to take ownership of the current-state process and transform it into a best-in-class change management system aligned with Trystar's "Right with Speed" value. As the enterprise Subject Matter Expert (SME), the CMS will lead the governance, continuous improvement, training, and cross-functional orchestration of the Engineering Change Management lifecycle, ensuring first-time-right implementation of engineering changes while minimizing risk, disruption, rework, and downstream impacts to operations.

This position reports directly to the Senior Sustaining Engineering Manager and will serve as the single point of control for change governance, maintaining process compliance, ensuring timely execution, and safeguarding data integrity across PLM, ERP, and document control systems.

We are looking for people who believe in our guiding principles and values of:
  • Safety – We believe everyone should leave Trystar facilities in the same or better condition than when they arrived.
  • Integrity – We’re honest, transparent, and committed to doing what’s right.
  • Customer focus – We have relentless focus on our customers and their success.
  • Right with speed – We use good judgement, make thoughtful decisions quickly, and execute them with purpose and intensity.
  • Play for each other – We’re a team. We show up for each other and we know that through teamwork we achieve greatness.
  • Champion change – We know adaptation and improvement are requirements to survive and to thrive.
  • Enjoy the journey – We create an environment where our team feels appreciated and has fun along the way.
In this role you will get to:
  • Own and administer the enterprise ECR/ECO/ECN process, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant execution of engineering changes across all supported locations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ECR, ECO, ECN, and change management activities.
  • Receive, review, validate, and route engineering change requests to ensure completeness, clarity, and adherence to established processes.
  • Monitor change workflows, proactively drive actions to closure, and escalate overdue approvals or implementation risks as necessary.
  • Develop, track, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) including cycle times, backlog status, schedule adherence, process effectiveness, and workload metrics.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to identify and eliminate process bottlenecks, improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and enhance stakeholder accountability.
  • Own the ECR/ECO process roadmap, transforming the current-state process into a scalable, efficient, and data-driven framework that supports Trystar's growth objectives.
  • Leverage PLM capabilities, workflow automation, and best practices to improve process performance, traceability, and operational effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular process audits and assessments to identify gaps, risks, improvement opportunities, and corrective actions.
  • Deliver training, coaching, and ongoing support to stakeholders across the organization to ensure consistent understanding, adoption, and execution of change management processes.
  • Facilitate ECR/ECO stand-up meetings and cross-functional reviews to improve communication, prioritization, and execution effectiveness.
  • Partners with Engineering site leaders to ensure engineering changes are aligned with business priorities, manufacturing readiness, customer commitments, and schedule adherence.
  • Promote a culture of process discipline, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence while embodying Trystar's "Right with Speed" value.
