Interface Software Engineer in Haciendas del Canada, Nuevo León at Jobgether

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Interface Software Engineer based in Brazil.

As an Interface Software Engineer, you will design, develop, test, and deploy integrations that connect laboratory systems with EMR/EHR and SaaS platforms.
You will work extensively with HL7, JSON, and SFTP to build reliable interfaces and support seamless data exchange.
The role combines software development, integration troubleshooting, quality assurance, and technical support in a collaborative environment.
You will work with third-party vendors and clients to clarify requirements, resolve technical issues, and ensure integrations perform as expected.
You will also contribute to documentation, integration audits, testing, and interface training when needed.

• Design, develop, document, test, modify, and deploy laboratory interfaces.
• Build and maintain HL7 and JSON integrations, as well as SFTP connectivity.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors to clarify system specifications, requirements, and interface functionality.
• Investigate and troubleshoot errors identified during interface development and testing.
• Provide technical support to clients and laboratory partners following deployment.
• Assist with the design, analysis, prototyping, and testing of new program features.
• Audit integrations, document findings, and provide quality assurance feedback.
• Respond to support requests from laboratory partners and healthcare facilities through appropriate ticketing processes.
• Conduct interface training for partners and facilities when required.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of relevant experience building, testing, and deploying interfaces for EMR/EHR systems or SaaS products.
• At least 1 year of hands-on HL7 experience or an HL7 certification.
• At least 1 year of knowledge or experience in laboratory operations.
• 1–2 years of experience working with SFTP clients and connectivity.
• Experience using Zendesk, ServiceNow, or a similar ticketing and support platform.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new software, tools, and workflows.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
