We are looking for a Senior FullStack Software Engineer to design, develop, and scale modern web applications that support critical business operations in the agribusiness credit technology sector. In this remote role, you will work across the entire software development lifecycle, from solution architecture and implementation to testing, deployment, and production monitoring. You will build high-performance applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript while contributing to the evolution of scalable, resilient software architectures. Working in a collaborative, technology-driven environment, you will take ownership of complex technical initiatives and help translate business needs into reliable digital solutions. You will also champion engineering best practices, leverage AI-powered development tools, and mentor other engineers to strengthen team capabilities. • FullStack Development: Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end software features across frontend and backend systems, taking ownership from initial requirements through production deployment.

• Technical Leadership: Lead technical initiatives by defining solution approaches, breaking down complex requirements into manageable tasks, implementing solutions, coordinating testing, and overseeing production rollouts.

• Frontend Engineering: Build, maintain, and optimize modern web applications using React, ensuring usability, performance, accessibility, and maintainability.

• Backend Engineering: Develop and evolve scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript, leveraging frameworks such as NestJS and Express to deliver reliable business functionality.

• Software Architecture: Contribute to the evolution of application architecture, including monolithic systems and microservices, balancing immediate delivery needs with long-term scalability and maintainability.

• API Development and Integrations: Design and maintain REST APIs, messaging systems, and integrations between distributed services, ensuring reliable communication and consistent data exchange.

• Resilience and Reliability: Implement robust integration patterns, including retries, timeouts, idempotency, circuit breakers, and fallback mechanisms, to improve fault tolerance and system stability.

• Database Management: Design and optimize data models and database queries using MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL to support performance, consistency, and scalability.

• Code Quality and Testing: Maintain high engineering standards through automated testing, code reviews, clean code practices, and continuous improvement of development workflows.

• Production Support and Observability: Monitor production environments, investigate incidents, troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and contribute to postmortems and preventive improvements.

• AI-Driven Development: Integrate AI-powered tools into the daily development workflow to improve productivity, accelerate delivery, and enhance software quality.

• Mentoring and Collaboration: Support the professional development of less experienced engineers, share technical knowledge, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to strengthen engineering practices.

• Bachelor's degree or technical education in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Extensive professional experience in software development, with strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript.

• Hands-on experience with backend frameworks such as NestJS and/or Express.

• Strong experience developing modern web applications with React and related frontend technologies.

• Proven ability to deliver complete features independently across frontend and backend systems.

• Solid understanding of software architecture, REST APIs, messaging systems, integrations, and distributed systems.

• Practical experience with MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL, including database modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.

• Experience implementing automated tests and applying code quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Familiarity with observability, monitoring, incident investigation, troubleshooting, and production support.

• Experience designing resilient services and integrations, with an understanding of fault-tolerant architecture patterns.

• Familiarity with AI-powered software development tools and an AI-first approach to improving daily engineering workflows.

• Strong problem-solving skills, technical autonomy, accountability, and the ability to make sound engineering decisions.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor colleagues and contribute to technical discussions.

• Advanced English proficiency to support technical communication and collaboration when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience evolving and maintaining both monolithic architectures and microservices.

• Experience working with data-intensive platforms, financial technology, credit systems, or agribusiness technology.

• Familiarity with distributed messaging, production observability, and reliability engineering practices.

• Demonstrated experience leading technical initiatives, conducting code reviews, and mentoring software engineers.
