Lead JanitorialCleanerwith Marsden South
Shift: Monday to Friday, 4:30 pm to 11:30 pm, 35 hours weekly.
Hourly Rate: $15.00
Location:Houston, TX
Requirements:
- You must be 18 years old
- You must be flexible and be able to work with our scheduling needs.
- You must have work authorization
- You must have janitorial experience
- You mustbe willing to lead and train a team
- A pre-employment drug screen is required for some of our accounts, and a criminal background check is mandatory.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
- Able to lift up to 30lbs.
- Custodial leadership experience is a must
- Willing and comfortable working in a school environment
- Prior experience operating a commercial floor scrubber is required
Job Duties:
We are seeking an experienced Janitorial Lead to supervise a dedicated crew of 5 part-time cleaners. In this hands-on role, you will walk between multiple campus buildings to monitor performance, ensure quality control, and operate a walk-behind floor scrubber as part of your regular duties. The ideal candidate is a reliable leader who is fully prepared to fill in for team call-outs when necessary.
- General cleaning and any additional requests as needed
- Oversee a group of custodial employees, train employees, and cover shifts
- Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
- Clean and restock restrooms
- Collect and dispose of trash
- Interacts with clients and building employees in a respectful, professional, treating others with empathy and dignity.
