ABOUT THE ROLE
The Technology Adoption Specialist (Trainer) designs and delivers technology training for attorneys and staff across all firm offices, aligned with department objectives and firm priorities. Provides in-person, virtual, and hybrid training on firm technology, AI tools, and digital adoption initiatives. Develops and maintains training materials, supports firmwide training programs and the Learning Management System (LMS), and promotes effective technology adoption. Collaborates with IT teams, attorneys, staff, and vendors to ensure high-quality service. Conducts new hire technology orientations in the Washington, D.C. office and travels as needed to support firmwide training initiatives.
Maintains knowledge of the firms AI tools, platforms, and legal technology, including capabilities, appropriate use cases, and limitations.
Coaches attorneys and staff on effective technology use, AI prompting, workflow integration, and responsible AI practices.
Develops and maintains training materials, including quick reference guides, manuals, tutorials, e-learning content, and AI adoption resources.
Collaborates with attorneys and staff to assess learning needs and design, deliver, and evaluate customized training programs.
Delivers technology training through virtual, hybrid, classroom, workshop, and one-on-one formats, consistent with established MoFo standards.
Supports AI tool rollouts, evaluations, and pilots by developing training resources and providing feedback on usability, adoption challenges, and user experience.
Identifies emerging technology trends, training needs, and opportunities to improve learning processes and digital adoption.
Supports firmwide training initiatives, including virtual office hours, Tech Tips, and AI adoption campaigns.
Communicates proactively with end users to address training needs, resolve issues promptly, and ensure satisfaction.
Conducts in-person new hire technology orientation for attorneys and staff in the Washington, D.C. office, consistent with firmwide onboarding standards.
ABOUT YOU
College degree in information technology, instructional design, or related field preferred.
Five or more years of technical training experience, including content development and program delivery.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and virtual collaboration tools.
Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, generative AI, and legal-specific AI applications, with the ability to develop practical user training.
Proficiency with e-learning tools, including Articulate Rise, Camtasia, Snagit, and EasyGenerator.
Relevant certifications in AI or digital adoption strongly desired.
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and project management methodologies preferred.
Law firm or professional services experience strongly preferred.
Ability to assess learning needs and deliver effective, user-focused training solutions.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills across all organizational levels.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Proactive, collaborative, and accountable, with sound independent judgment and professionalism under pressure.
Strong technical aptitude, adaptability, and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work outside regular business hours; occasional travel and ability to lift up to 25 pounds required.

Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, overtime as applicable, health/welfare benefits, retirement contributions, paid holidays, and PTO. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: local market data and ranges; an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience; and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications. Washington, D.C. salary range: $87k to $122k
