Job Description

SUMMARY

Support local HR Generalist with tactical tasks, answer employee question regarding HR, company policies and procedures, and organize company events. Must be bilingual in English/ Spanish.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This entry-level position works under the direct supervision of the HR Generalist in the performance of the following essential duties:

    Responsible for recruitment efforts from posting to on boardingResponsible for clerical tasks including filing, creating new hire packets, scanning documents, process correspondence, and maintaining posters/boards up to dateAssist in preparation and coordination of new hires, including interview process and new hire paperworkConduct new hire orientation to foster positive attitude towards company goalsAnswer employee questions regarding benefits and compensation administration and complianceAssist with employee performance reviews, employee status changes and terminationsAssist with safety audits and accident investigationsAssist with special projects as required such as annual open enrollment, employee performance reviews and quarterly WC reviewsCoordinate meetings, luncheons and special eventsSpecial projects as requiredOther duties may be assigned as neededAssist local HR Generalist in HR tasks as neededCover reception when needed

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2 years related experience required, Bachelors Degree in related fiel preferred .

SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents, write reports and correspondence. Proficient use of Microsoft Suite (Word, PowePoint, Excel and Outlook). Bilingual in English/ Spanish.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in standard office setting, at a desk, frequently answersing incoming phone calls and greeting incoming employees/guests. Employee will frequently visit the production area which is loud and has movig parts. Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
