As a Senior Manager, CEO Communications, you will lead the development and execution of executive communications strategies that elevate leadership visibility and support broader business objectives. You will serve as a trusted communications partner, creating compelling narratives and managing high-impact initiatives across multiple channels.
- Develop and execute strategic messaging for executive communications, including quarterly business updates, company announcements, major milestones, and key strategic initiatives.
- Partner with leadership to shape an authentic executive voice and create compelling narratives that resonate with employees, customers, media, and industry stakeholders.
- Build and manage thought leadership programs, including executive articles, speeches, presentations, and long-form content.
- Lead proactive media relations efforts by developing pitches, securing opportunities, and supporting high-profile executive visibility initiatives.
- Manage and grow executive social media presence, particularly on LinkedIn, by creating engaging and consistent digital content strategies.
- Collaborate closely with corporate communications, product marketing, investor relations, legal, brand, and other business teams to ensure message alignment.
- Advise senior stakeholders on communications strategy, reputation management, and opportunities to strengthen external positioning.
- Manage multiple communications priorities simultaneously while maintaining quality, accuracy, and strategic alignment.
- Leverage emerging technologies, including AI-powered communications tools, to improve workflows and develop innovative communication approaches.
The ideal candidate is a strategic communications professional with extensive experience supporting senior executives in complex, high-growth environments. You should have exceptional storytelling abilities, strong media expertise, and the ability to operate effectively across global, cross-functional teams.
- 8+ years of experience in executive communications, corporate communications, public relations, or related fields.
- Proven experience directly supporting and advising C-suite executives in high-stakes, fast-moving environments.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to capture an executive leader’s authentic voice.
- Strong experience developing executive messaging, communications strategies, and thought leadership content.
- Demonstrated success managing media relations programs, including pitching and securing coverage in leading business and technology publications.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to create high-level narratives while executing detailed communications plans.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines, and complex projects.
- Excellent collaboration and influencing skills, with experience working across matrixed global organizations.
- Experience managing executive social media channels and understanding digital engagement trends is preferred.
- Familiarity with enterprise technology, cloud communications, APIs, data platforms, or corporate technology environments is a plus.
- Experience working in both agency and in-house communications environments is preferred.
- Interest in artificial intelligence and its impact on communications, with the ability to identify opportunities for AI-enabled workflows.
- Competitive compensation with estimated salary ranges based on location:
- Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont, or Washington D.C.: $141,520 - $176,900 USD annually
- New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside the San Francisco Bay area): $149,840 - $187,300 USD annually
- San Francisco Bay Area, California: $166,400 - $208,000 USD annually
