This role offers the opportunity to design and maintain the secure, scalable infrastructure behind a growing technology platform.
You will play a critical role in building reliable systems, improving deployment processes, and ensuring operational excellence across cloud environments.
Working in a fully remote, global engineering team, you will combine automation, security, and development expertise to solve complex infrastructure challenges.
Your work will directly impact system reliability, performance, and the ability of teams to deliver products quickly and safely.

Accountabilities

As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you will own the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of infrastructure solutions that keep systems secure, reliable, and highly available. You will collaborate across engineering and business teams to improve operational processes and enable efficient software delivery.

  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support fast, reliable, and secure production deployments.
  • Design and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve operational issues.
  • Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code solutions to automate and maintain cloud environments using modern tooling.
  • Implement resilient architectures and recovery processes that allow systems to automatically handle failures with minimal manual intervention.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS and related platforms.
  • Support security-focused engineering practices by integrating DevSecOps principles into development and deployment workflows.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to improve system reliability, performance, and scalability.
  • Act as a technical bridge between infrastructure, development, and other business functions.
  • Investigate complex incidents, identify root causes, and implement long-term improvements.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced DevSecOps engineer with strong cloud infrastructure knowledge, automation expertise, and a passion for building reliable and secure systems. You should be comfortable working independently, solving complex technical problems, and collaborating within a distributed engineering environment.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, ideally supported by an Associate-level AWS certification.
  • Strong experience managing infrastructure, databases, networking, and highly available scalable applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux system administration and Bash scripting.
  • Experience applying AWS Well-Architected Framework principles and working with AWS Serverless technologies.
  • Strong understanding of web services, APIs, RESTful architectures, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Practical experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools, particularly Grafana and open-source monitoring stacks.
  • Development experience with technologies such as Python, Node.js, and Nginx configuration.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex system issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote working environment with the flexibility to work from anywhere.
  • Opportunity to build and scale infrastructure for an innovative B2B technology platform.
  • Global collaboration with teammates across different countries and cultures.
  • High level of ownership and autonomy in shaping technical solutions.
  • 28 days of paid time off plus local public holidays.
  • Opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies and contribute to a growing engineering ecosystem.
  • Dynamic startup environment with opportunities for professional growth and impact.
