The Senior Sales Operations Analyst will support commercial teams by providing accurate analysis, operational expertise, and strategic recommendations that improve business performance. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, ownership of key processes, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Analyze complex business data, identify trends, develop conclusions, and communicate actionable recommendations to Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams.
- Create, maintain, and improve reporting dashboards and analytical tools using platforms such as Excel, Salesforce, and PowerBI.
- Manage incoming analysis requests, prioritize projects, and independently execute reporting and insights initiatives.
- Support commercial operations programs including compensation planning, quota management, business planning, territory design, and performance reporting.
- Build and optimize operational processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and decision-making.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to collect, organize, and interpret data that supports strategic initiatives.
- Develop standardized reporting frameworks and solutions that improve visibility into commercial performance.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other analysts on projects and analytical best practices.
- Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and practical recommendations.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance operational effectiveness.
The successful candidate will bring a strong background in sales operations, analytics, or related business functions, along with the ability to manage complex projects and communicate insights clearly. The ideal profile combines technical expertise, business acumen, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Analytics, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience; MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Finance, Business Analytics, or another analytical role.
- Experience building reporting and visualization solutions using tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
- Strong ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and translate findings into business recommendations.
- Experience with Salesforce reporting, CRM platforms, or commercial operations tools.
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, R, or similar analytical programming languages is a plus.
- Experience within medical devices, healthcare, life sciences, or another regulated industry is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and manage complex stakeholder requests.

- Competitive base salary range of approximately $109,000 - $174,800, depending on experience, skills, and location.
