Position Overview

As an Entry-Level Event Marketing & Communications Assistant, you'll help plan, coordinate, and execute community events, fundraising campaigns, promotional marketing initiatives, and brand awareness programs. You'll work directly with team members, community partners, event attendees, and supporters to create engaging experiences while helping organizations strengthen their outreach and community presence.

This role offers hands-on experience in event marketing, nonprofit marketing, communications, fundraising, customer engagement, public relations, brand promotion, and event coordination, providing a strong foundation for long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning and executing promotional marketing campaigns, fundraising events, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Support event logistics, including setup, displays, promotional materials, scheduling, and onsite coordination.
  • Engage professionally with community members, donors, event attendees, and customers.
  • Communicate campaign messaging to increase community awareness and supporter engagement.
  • Distribute promotional materials and assist with outreach activities.
  • Track campaign performance, event participation, and customer engagement metrics.
  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, and event teams to achieve campaign objectives.
  • Share creative ideas to improve event experiences, outreach efforts, and community engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of campaign activities and event participation.
  • Represent client brands, nonprofit organizations, and community partners with professionalism, enthusiasm, and integrity.
Qualifications
