This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Associate, AfroTech Client Services based in the United States.

Join a dynamic client services team supporting high-profile brand partnerships across digital campaigns and large-scale live events. In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering exceptional sponsor experiences by coordinating logistics, managing project timelines, and ensuring seamless execution from planning through on-site event delivery. Working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners, you'll help bring innovative sponsorship activations to life while maintaining outstanding operational excellence. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys event operations, and is passionate about building strong client relationships. You'll contribute directly to memorable experiences while helping scale impactful programs and processes.

Accountabilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operational execution of assigned sponsorship accounts, coordinating timelines, deliverables, and logistics while serving as the primary operational contact for clients.
  • Support sponsorship onboarding by translating statements of work into actionable project plans, task lists, milestone tracking, and asset management.
  • Coordinate sponsor logistics, including ticket fulfillment, promotional materials, booth assignments, exhibitor communications, and project updates across internal systems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, project tracking tools, and operational records while contributing to process improvements that enhance team efficiency.
  • Participate in internal meetings and client calls, documenting action items and ensuring timely execution of follow-up tasks across stakeholders.
  • Provide on-site operational support during live events by managing sponsor relationships, resolving logistical issues, coordinating with production teams, and ensuring successful event execution throughout setup, conference operations, and teardown.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in client services, account coordination, event operations, sponsorship management, or a similar client-facing role.
  • Experience supporting conferences, live events, media organizations, agencies, publishers, or enterprise-level sponsorship programs is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Asana, and other project management platforms; familiarity with exhibitor management systems is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and client deliverables simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, collaborative, and customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, troubleshoot issues under pressure, and coordinate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Availability to work primarily remotely while supporting conference activities on-site, including approximately five days of travel for the annual conference, with at least 50% overlap with Eastern Time working hours.
Benefits
  • Fully remote work arrangement with flexible scheduling (29 hours per week through Q3, expanding to full-time during peak conference season).
  • Opportunity to work on nationally recognized conferences, digital campaigns, and premium brand partnership activations.
  • Collaborative, inclusive, and mission-driven work environment with opportunities to contribute to meaningful, high-impact projects.
  • Exposure to cross-functional teams, major sponsors, and large-scale event operations that support professional growth.
  • Opportunity to develop expertise in client services, event management, sponsorship execution, and project operations within a rapidly growing organization.
