POSITION PURPOSE
The Senior Vice President – Head of Product Development is responsible for defining and executing the product vision and strategy for Opus CMC. This executive leader will transform client needs, operational expertise, emerging technology, and market opportunities into scalable products, platforms, and solutions that differentiate Opus CMC within the mortgage and financial services industry.
This position serves as the strategic bridge between Operations, Technology, Sales, Finance, , and Executive Leadership to ensure products solve real business challenges while creating measurable value for clients and the organization.
The SVP will establish and lead Opus CMC's Product organization, creating a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, disciplined product management, and customer-centric development. This leader will oversee both the Product and Solutions organizations, ensuring product strategy aligns with client delivery, operational excellence, and long-term company growth.

Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
• Develop and execute Opus CMC's enterprise product strategy.
• Establish a multi-year product roadmap aligned with corporate objectives.
• Identify emerging industry trends, technologies, and market opportunities.
• Prioritize investments that maximize client value and company growth.
• Ensure product strategy aligns with company financial objectives.
Product Leadership
• Build and lead the Product organization.
• Oversee Product Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Solutions teams.
• Create standardized product management processes.
• Develop product governance and decision-making frameworks.
• Establish KPIs measuring product performance and success.
Solutions Leadership
• Provide executive oversight of the Solutions organization.
• Ensure client solutions align with long-term product strategy.
• Partner with Sales during strategic client pursuits.
• Guide solution architecture for complex client engagements.
• Balance custom client needs with scalable product development.
Product Development
• Lead the complete product lifecycle from concept through retirement.
• Prioritize new product initiatives.
• Oversee product enhancement roadmaps.
• Ensure successful product launches.
• Drive adoption across internal and external users.
Business Transformation
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes.
• Improve operational efficiency through technology.
• Champion digital transformation initiatives.
• Lead process redesign efforts across departments.
• Implement best practices in Lean process improvement.
Client Engagement
• Meet with strategic clients to understand business challenges.
• Translate client feedback into product enhancements.

Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Technology, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, or related discipline.

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience.
• 10+ years leading Product Management or Business Solutions organizations.
