As a Senior Software Engineer, DevOps, you will play a pivotal role in building and evolving the cloud infrastructure that supports mission-critical products and services. Working closely with cross-functional engineering teams, you'll design scalable, secure, and highly available platform solutions while driving automation and operational excellence across the software development lifecycle. - Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using modern cloud-native technologies and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, observability platforms, and deployment workflows to improve engineering productivity.
- Monitor, maintain, and enhance platform reliability, performance, availability, networking, and cloud cost efficiency.
- Lead operational excellence initiatives through monitoring, alerting, incident response, root cause analysis, capacity planning, and continuous service improvement.
- Champion DevSecOps best practices by implementing identity and access management, secrets management, infrastructure hardening, vulnerability remediation, and security automation.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and platform issues while driving long-term solutions that reduce technical debt and improve system resilience.
- Partner with software engineering, security, and product teams to align platform architecture with business and operational goals.
- Create technical documentation, operational playbooks, and internal resources while mentoring engineers and promoting DevOps standards across the organization.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support production environments and ensure reliable service delivery.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or software engineering roles.
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and operating cloud-native infrastructure and automation solutions in production environments.
- Strong expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience implementing DevSecOps principles, including IAM, network security, secrets management, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure hardening.
- Solid background supporting highly available, secure, and scalable cloud-based production systems.
- Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, system reliability, and continuous operational improvement.
- Proficiency with Linux systems, Git, command-line tools, and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, provide technical leadership, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience preferred.
- Competitive salary ranging from $140,000 to $175,000, depending on experience, skills, and location.
- Fully remote position based in the United States.
