Senior Recruiter / Senior Talent Partner

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Recruiter / Senior Talent Partner based in Canada.

This role is a high-impact, senior-level talent acquisition position focused on delivering complex and strategic hiring across consulting, technology, and supply chain domains within a fast-paced, global environment. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior hiring managers, owning end-to-end recruitment for niche, senior, and hard-to-fill roles that directly influence business outcomes. The position requires strong stakeholder management across North America, particularly the US and Canada markets, along with the ability to operate across multiple time zones. Beyond execution, you will play a key role in shaping hiring quality, improving decision-making discipline, and enhancing overall recruitment effectiveness through data-driven insights. This is a senior individual contributor role with significant visibility, autonomy, and influence across the talent acquisition function. You will also contribute to process improvements, mentoring, and recruiting best practices. The environment is dynamic, collaborative, and designed for professionals who thrive in complex, high-accountability hiring landscapes.

Accountabilities:
  • Own full-cycle recruitment for senior, niche, and hard-to-fill roles across consulting, technology, and services-led environments.
  • Lead intake sessions with hiring managers to define role requirements, success profiles, competencies, and evaluation frameworks.
  • Design and execute sourcing strategies across Canada and North America, ensuring strong pipelines for complex hiring needs.
  • Conduct structured interviews and guide consistent, high-quality evaluation and hiring decisions.
  • Influence role scoping, leveling, and hiring feasibility based on market intelligence and talent availability.
  • Facilitate debriefs, resolve misalignment or bias, and drive timely hiring decisions across stakeholders.
  • Act as a strategic partner to senior leaders, advising on market conditions, compensation, and hiring trade-offs.
  • Analyze recruitment funnel metrics to identify trends, improve conversion rates, and enhance candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to coordinate requisitions, submissions, and interview scheduling.
  • Contribute to hiring playbooks, process improvements, and recruiter mentoring initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 7–10 years of full-cycle recruitment experience in consulting, technology, or services-driven organizations.
  • Proven success hiring for senior, niche, or complex roles in competitive talent markets.
  • Strong experience recruiting across North America, particularly Canada and the US.
  • Deep understanding of US/Canada employment models including W2, C2C, and 1099 structures.
  • Familiarity with visa processes, cross-border hiring, and compliance considerations.
  • Strong sourcing, assessment, and closing capabilities across technical and non-technical roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and hiring decision-making processes.
  • Experience with recruiting analytics, workforce planning, or funnel optimization is a strong plus.
  • Previous experience mentoring or supporting other recruiters is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience and market standards
  • Flexible work arrangements, including remote or hybrid options
  • Exposure to high-impact hiring across North American enterprise markets
  • Strong career development opportunities in senior talent acquisition leadership paths
  • Learning and development support, including training and upskilling resources
  • Collaborative and inclusive global work environment
  • Opportunity to influence hiring strategy and process improvements at scale
  • Employee wellbeing programs and statutory benefits as applicable.
