R&D Director in Seriate, Bergamo at Serioplast

Serioplast, a Global Leader in Rigid Plastic Packaging, is looking for an experienced R&D Director to lead our global Research & Development function at the Global Headquarters.
In this strategic role, you will define the R&D roadmap, lead multidisciplinary teams, and work closely with Sales, Procurement, Operations, and Project Management to ensure the successful development and implementation of new products and technologies that strengthen our competitive position worldwide.

What you will do:

• Define and execute the company's global R&D strategy.
• Manage the R&D project portfolio, balancing priorities, resources, quality, timing, and costs.
• Lead the development and industrialisation of packaging solutions.
• Drive product innovation by identifying new technologies, materials, and market trends.
• Build strong partnerships with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver successful product development projects.

What we're looking for:

• Degree in Engineering or another relevant scientific discipline.
• Significant leadership experience in R&D, Product Development, or Engineering within FMCG or a related manufacturing industry.
• Relevant Experience with Plastics Packaging Solutions and related technologies.
• Strong knowledge of plastic moulding technologies (EBM, SBM, and Injection Moulding).
• Proven experience in product development, industrialisation, and project management.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

Competitive compensation package, starting from € 85,000 gross per year, plus company car and variable incentive plan. The final package will be determined according to objective criteria, including experience, competencies, and role responsibilities.
