ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Work as a team with other Painters to preserve interior and exterior upkeep of the campus
Perform residential painting/wallcovering as scheduled
Maintain the esthetics of high traffic common areas (painting and wallcovering)
Restore painted areas in vacated residents/offices to new-like conditions
Perform dry wall repairs as needed
Assist Maintenance Techs with inclement weather protection and repair (de-ice parking lots, etc.)
Maintain record keeping of completed work and preventative maintenance files
Ensure resident/patient, visitor, and co-worker safety by remaining aware of and
reporting any new or existing safety hazards
Maintain good attendance record
Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School graduate or GED equivalent
Demonstrate 3-5 years of painting experience
Basic technical knowledge to apply paint and stain to bring a new look and weather protection to surfaces of homes, buildings and other structures
Knowledge of work safety factors
Ability to work without direct supervision, organize and manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks (even with interruptions from staff and residents)
Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English
