Surgery Registered Nurse-First Assistant

Surgery Department

Full Time: 80 hours per pay period, M-F hours will vary, call rotation required.

Current IL RN licensure required. ACLS & PALS required. Minimum of 2 years surgery first assistant experience required, certification preferred, orthopedic experience also required. Must be a team player who is willing to adopt our “SCH Standards of Behavior”.

The Surgery Department at Sparta Community Hospital is seeking a surgery registered nurse-first assistant who is passionate about exceptional patient care.

Our Surgery Department nursing team provides exceptional care to patients in need of surgical services. With a focus on ensuring continuity of care, our team handles a wide range of surgical services and advocates for each patient's wellbeing.
