This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Mgr Site Payments - FSP based in India.

This role offers the opportunity to lead critical payment operations within global clinical research programs and contribute to the success of complex clinical trial initiatives.
You will manage a specialized team responsible for accurate, compliant, and timely investigator payments across multiple projects.

Accountabilities:

As a Manager Site Payments - FSP, you will oversee site payment operations, lead a specialized team, and ensure the successful delivery of investigator payment services across assigned clinical trial projects. You will combine operational expertise, leadership capabilities, and process improvement skills to maintain compliance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

  • Lead, coach, and develop Site Payments teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of investigator payment services.
  • Build and scale teams according to business needs, supporting recruitment activities and team growth initiatives.
  • Oversee project execution to ensure customer expectations, contractual requirements, quality standards, and deadlines are consistently achieved.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and project risks to maintain business continuity.
  • Drive employee performance through goal setting, coaching, mentoring, career development, and performance reviews.
  • Support recruitment activities, including candidate interviews and role definition.
  • Partner with senior leadership to analyze operational metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and support business growth initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain departmental procedures, policies, training materials, and operational documentation.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for cross-functional initiatives related to site payment operations.
  • Perform quality control and approval activities related to site setup, investigator payments, milestone payments, reimbursements, reconciliations, and payment issue resolution.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to improve forecasting, reporting, and payment strategies.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced clinical trial payments professional with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of global payment operations. You should have experience managing teams, improving operational processes, and working with financial and clinical systems in a regulated environment.

  • Master’s degree, preferably in Finance or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in clinical trial site payments and operational management.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading and developing teams.
  • Experience working within a Functional Service Provider (FSP) model is highly preferred.
  • Strong experience with site payment platforms, EDC systems, financial systems, ticketing systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid understanding of ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP), country-specific regulations, tax requirements, and clinical trial payment compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data, create forecasts, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and cultures.
  • Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, quality, and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership mindset with experience building high-performing teams and driving continuous improvement.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, systems, and business processes.
