FULFILLMENT ASSOCIATE CA in LOS ANGELES, California at Milk Bar

JOB OVERVIEW

The Distribution & Facilities Associate supports the day-to-day operations of Milk Bar’s LA commissary by executing store order fulfillment, inventory restocking, dishwashing, and general facilities upkeep. This role works closely with the kitchen team to maintain accuracy, cleanliness, and compliance across all areas of operation — contributing to the timely and safe delivery of Milk Bar products while upholding our food safety and workplace standards.

• Accurately pack orders for storefronts, third-party partners, and shipping fulfillment
• Assemble shipping orders following packing specs and quality standards
• Follow FIFO and product shelf-life guidelines when organizing and replenishing items
• Assist with receiving and organizing incoming deliveries
• Record inventory data as directed
• Support preparation and execution of menu change tasks
• Collaborate with FOH and kitchen teams to complete daily tasks and troubleshoot basic product issues

• Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain a clean, DOH-compliant dish station
• Clean and maintain commissary spaces including restrooms, locker rooms, prep areas, walk-ins, and dry storage, guest areas
• Take out trash, recycling, and compost; break down boxes and keep waste areas organized
• Maintain cleanliness of carts, racks, and other kitchen equipment
• Execute daily and weekly cleaning checklists as assigned
• Notify management of any hazards, equipment issues, or facility needs

• Uphold Milk Bar’s safety, sanitation, and operational protocols
• Bring a team-first attitude, remain flexible, and take initiative when needed
• Fully understand and exhibit the Milk Bar ethos, embodying our core values and inspiring celebration, and serve as a brand ambassador both internally and externally

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and completing physical tasks
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Must have strong time management skills and attention to detail
• Able to take direction, receive feedback, and improve quickly
• Must wear proper uniform and follow Milk Bar hygiene and safety standards
• Regular in-person attendance is an essential function and requirement of this position.
