Technical Product Manager for AI Security Products

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Product Manager for AI Security Products based in United States.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape products at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and emerging adversarial threats.
You will help translate customer needs, technical insights, and evolving attack techniques into impactful product capabilities.
Working closely with engineering, data science, threat research, sales, marketing, and professional services teams, you will guide products from strategy through execution.
You will help define security requirements for AI and agentic systems while keeping pace with developments in the adversarial AI landscape.
The role combines technical product management, market intelligence, customer engagement, and cross-functional leadership in a rapidly evolving field.

Accountabilities
  • Own, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, balancing customer needs, technical opportunities, business priorities, and emerging security risks.
  • Partner with engineering, data science, threat research, sales engineering, professional services, marketing, and support teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality product capabilities.
  • Monitor the adversarial AI threat landscape, including MITRE ATLAS, and translate emerging attack techniques into product detection and security requirements.
  • Gather customer insights through direct engagement, identifying pain points, requirements, and opportunities that inform product enhancements.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, risks, and developments across AI, machine learning, and cybersecurity.
  • Define product requirements, use cases, specifications, and acceptance criteria while ensuring proposed solutions are technically feasible and effective.
  • Coordinate product launches and contribute to go-to-market strategies that support adoption, positioning, and commercial success.
  • Apply Agile product development practices and effective project management to move initiatives from concept through delivery.
  • Help communicate complex technical challenges, product decisions, and security priorities clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continuous evolution of AI security products in a fast-moving, emerging technology market.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or another related technical discipline.
  • Strong technical background in AI, machine learning, data science, or machine learning operations, combined with a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and industry standards.
  • In-depth knowledge of AI techniques, algorithms, frameworks, and AI operations tools.
  • Experience working as a technical product manager in cybersecurity, AI, data science, machine learning, or a closely related domain.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, data science, threat research, marketing, sales, and support teams.
  • Experience with Agile product development methodologies and project management tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess complex technical challenges and develop practical, effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements, priorities, and business outcomes.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and self-motivated approach, with the ability to operate effectively in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Collaborative mindset combined with intellectual curiosity, humility, accountability, and a positive approach.
  • Previous experience developing and/or launching successful machine learning or cybersecurity products is a plus.
  • Experience in adversarial AI, AI security, threat research, or related emerging security technologies is particularly valuable.
