This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Consultant - Veeva Safety - Managed Services based in India.
Join a specialized consulting team supporting biopharmaceutical organizations after the implementation of critical safety systems. In this role, you will help customers maximize the value of their safety technology while ensuring solutions remain aligned with evolving business and regulatory needs. You will combine deep pharmacovigilance expertise with technical configuration, solution design, and customer advisory skills. The position offers exposure to complex global stakeholders, SaaS technologies, and high-impact life sciences programs. You will work closely with business, IT, implementation, maintenance, and product teams to shape effective solutions. - Support a portfolio of biopharmaceutical customers using Vault Safety and help them maximize the value of their post-implementation solutions.
- Understand customer business processes and requirements, provide guidance, design appropriate solutions, and implement required system configurations.
- Keep customer environments aligned with new features and capabilities across the safety technology suite.
- Collaborate closely with customer business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
- Think critically beyond stated requirements to identify potential improvements, risks, and capabilities that can further support customer success.
- Act as a key customer liaison, coordinating communication between customer stakeholders, implementation and maintenance teams, and internal product teams.
- Guide customers in adopting SaaS, Vault, and industry best practices through post-implementation programs.
- Support change management initiatives for customers transitioning from on-premises systems to SaaS-based solutions.
- Communicate customer requirements and industry needs to product management and contribute ideas that improve products and service delivery.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery methodologies, processes, and managed services capabilities.
- Work independently to design, configure, and deliver solutions while maintaining a strong focus on quality, timelines, and customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification; a degree in life sciences, computer science, or a related discipline is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in the life sciences industry, with significant experience in Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance and exposure to consulting or customer-facing functions.
- Strong knowledge of Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to write complex SQL queries against safety datasets.
- Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, or supporting safety systems such as Argus, Aris, Emperica, Commonwealth, RxLogix, or comparable in-house platforms.
- Experience developing aggregate or analytical reports using safety data is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of life sciences compliance and computer systems validation requirements.
- Experience with SaaS or cloud-based technologies and software implementation is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and deliver solutions to a high standard of customer satisfaction.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with confidence in customer interactions and presentations.
- Previous experience working as an individual contributor with strong ownership and accountability.
- Ability to quickly understand business requirements, develop solution designs, and actively participate in hands-on delivery and configuration.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving, adaptability, learning agility, and willingness to work in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Experience supporting high-impact global system implementation programs as a consultant, business lead, IT lead, or business sponsor is a plus.
- Experience with services delivery management and/or systems implementation is advantageous.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25% of project time, including occasional travel to the Hyderabad office or customer locations.
