Job Summary

We need a dependable and hardworking person to join our maintenance crew. You will help care for the golf course turf, greens, and surrounding areas. This job is mostly outdoors and requires physical work in all types of weather.

Responsibilities:

• Turf Care: Mow greens, tees, fairways, and roughs. Trim grass around trees, signs, and borders.
• Course Setup: Change cup and pin locations on greens. Move tee markers and empty waste bins.
• Bunker Maintenance: Rake, edge, and maintain sand traps by hand or using small motorized tools.
• Landscape and Cleanup: Clear debris with blowers. Pull weeds, plant sod, fill divots, and water landscaped areas.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate riding mowers, utility vehicles, string trimmers, and small tractors. Clean machinery after use and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor.
• General Repairs: Assist with basic irrigation repairs, minor path maintenance, and facility cleanup.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Outdoors: Must be able to work in early morning hours and tolerate extreme heat, cold, rain, or sun.
• Physical Activity: Frequent walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and pulling for long periods.
• Lifting: Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous groundskeeping or turf care experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
• License: Must have valid ID and be at least 18 years of age to comply with federal safety regulations.
• Work Ethic: Punctual, detail-oriented, and able to follow safety rules and direct instructions.
