Job Title: Support Staff for F&B and Events

FLSA Status: Part Time / Non-Exempt

Job Purpose

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area before, during, and after service to ensure a positive dining experience for members and guests. Support servers and other staff with efficiency and a professional attitude.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Table Maintenance:
  • Set, clean, and reset tables with appropriate linens, silverware, glassware, and centerpieces.
  • Refill water, replace silverware, and ensure settings are clean and complete.
  • Monitor table cleanliness and address crumbs, stains, or spills promptly.
• Dining Support:
  • Assist servers in carrying food and beverages to tables.
  • Clear soiled dishes and linens, replacing them as needed.
  • Accommodate requests for highchairs or booster seats.
• General Cleaning and Stocking:
  • Stock server stations with necessary supplies.
  • Keep ice bins, linen closets, and trash receptacles organized and replenished.
  • Collect trash and empty linen bags as needed.
• Team Coordination:
  • Communicate with servers regarding table readiness and guest needs.
  • Assist the expo team with food delivery, table preparation, and maintaining service flow.
• Guest Interaction:
  • Greet guests warmly by name within one minute of their arrival.
  • Ensure timely responses to guest needs, maintaining a professional demeanor.

Key Expectations:

o Maintain table readiness within one minute after guests depart.

o Perform dining room water sweeps every 10 minutes.

o Collaborate closely with servers, expo staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.

Working Conditions

· Environment: Primarily works indoors during the winter months in a temperature-controlled environment, with the potential to work outdoors during the summer for events or patio service.

· Physical Requirements: Requires prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 35 pounds. May occasionally involve carrying trays, pushing carts, or moving furniture for event setup.

· Schedule: Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on club operations and member events.

· Team Setting: Works closely with other food and beverage staff, kitchen personnel, and management in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

· Weather Exposure (Summer): Outdoor service may involve exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, and sunlight.

Skills and Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age

• Experience: 0-1+ years of customer service experience preferred
