Operations Manager - Food & Nutrition Services in Belmont, North Carolina at CaroMont Health

Job Summary: Define, measure, analyze, and improve food and nutrition management to exceed patient expectations and nutritional requirements. Meet or exceed regulatory requirements for workplace safety and safe food production. Lead performance improvement processes for all food services functions to achieve expected outcomes. Implement nutrition and wellness initiatives for retail food services. Achieve highly reliable food production and nutrition management.

Qualifications: 2-year degree from a recognized college. 4-year degree preferred. Three to five years of healthcare food and nutrition management experience and/or Food Industry Management required. Certified Dietary Manager preferred. A thorough knowledge and understanding of CMS, TJC, sanitation, nutrition management, food production, and ServSafe required. Effective writing and oral communication skills. Ability to use or knowledge of various software systems including but not limited to Microsoft products, nutrition management system, email, and point-of-sale system
