About Us:
Precision Fluid Controls, Inc. designs, manufactures and tests components for launch vehicles and ground support applications—providing many types of valves including throttling valves, ball valves, check and relief valves, vent and relief valves, pressure reducing, both manual and dome loaded, regulators, sleeve valves, butterfly valves, solenoid valves plus many others.
About the role:
PFC is in search for an Inventory Control Specialist to maintain accurate inventory records, support production through material kitting, and help ensure the efficient flow of materials throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to accuracy and continuous improvement.
The role is a fully on-site role located in our Lincoln, CA offices and will report directly to the Production Manager.
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counting, material transactions, and inventory audits.Receive, store, and issue materials while ensuring inventory accuracy and traceability.Kit materials and components for production jobs in accordance with work orders and production schedules.Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.Organize and maintain stockroom and warehouse areas to support operational efficiency.Support production teams by ensuring materials are available when needed.Serve as a backup for Shipping and Receiving activities as required.Follow company quality standards, safety procedures, and inventory control processes.Work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of 1-3 years of inventory control, stockroom, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.Experience using ERP/MRP systems and inventory management software preferred.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.Ability to read and follow work instructions and inventory procedures.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.Knowledge of inventory control best practices, cycle counting, and material traceability.
