As an AI Council Growth Lead, you will help operate and grow a senior executive community focused on AI across retail and consumer industries.
You will sit at the intersection of member engagement, business development, community operations, events, and marketing coordination.
The role involves building strong relationships with senior executives, prospective members, sponsors, and strategic industry contacts.
You will manage the day-to-day operational engine of the community while supporting programming and the planning of major events.
Your work will help strengthen member engagement, identify growth opportunities, and ensure every interaction delivers meaningful value.
This is a hands-on role for an organized and proactive professional who enjoys ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and a fast-moving environment.
Build and maintain strong relationships with council members, prospective members, sponsors, and key industry contacts.
Keep members engaged between meetings through consistent communication, targeted outreach, thoughtful follow-ups, and relationship management.
Monitor participation and engagement levels, identifying opportunities to deepen relationships or reconnect with inactive members.
Support senior leadership in managing important member and executive relationships.
Identify and engage prospective members, sponsors, and strategic participants to support community growth.
Maintain a structured pipeline of prospects, opportunities, follow-ups, and next steps.
Work with leadership and sales teams to identify opportunities across membership, sponsorship, research, advisory services, and events.
Ensure timely follow-through on leads and opportunities generated through meetings, introductions, and events.
Manage operational activities including member lists, contact records, calendars, meeting preparation, and follow-up tracking.
Maintain accurate records of membership status, attendance, engagement, and relationship activity.
Develop practical trackers, workflows, and processes that improve consistency, visibility, and accountability.
Provide regular updates on engagement, pipeline activity, follow-ups, and key opportunities.
Support monthly programming by coordinating agendas, speakers, discussion topics, and member participation.
Coordinate with research, events, marketing, sales, and leadership teams to ensure programming is well prepared and aligned with priorities.
Translate ideas and strategic priorities into clear action plans, timelines, and actionable next steps.
Support the planning and execution of the annual conference and other major community events.
Help ensure every member interaction is organized, relevant, and valuable.
Experience in account management, client success, partnerships, business development, executive communities, membership programs, or a related field.
Proven experience working with senior executives and managing professional relationships.
Background in retail, technology, research, advisory, events, innovation, or similarly fast-paced environments is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate effectively across different teams.
Strong relationship-building, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Excellent organization, project management, and follow-up discipline.
Commercial awareness with the ability to identify potential growth, partnership, and business development opportunities.
Strong initiative and ownership, with the ability to work independently and proactively.
Exceptional attention to detail and a structured approach to managing information and workflows.
Ability to translate broad priorities into clear plans, actions, deadlines, and follow-ups.

Availability to work with required US time-zone overlap.
