About the Role:
The Payment Product Specialistprocesses, reconciles, and monitors payment transactionsacross card, ACH, and gift card payments. This role works with internal teams and outside payment processors to find and fix transaction errors, keep payment records accurate, and handle the daily work of the Payment Product team for Subway and its franchisees.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Process and reconcile daily payment transactions across card, ACH, and gift card channels
- Monitor payment systems and quickly resolve transaction errors
- Help resolve chargebacks and payment disputes
- Support PCI compliancedocumentation and controls for Subway and its franchisees
- Prepare payment reports for management
- Partner with payment processors and vendors to solve processing issues
- Keep payment procedures and documentation up to date
Qualifications (some examples listed below):
- Bachelor's degree and 13 years of experience in payment product, transaction processing, or finance work for payments and/or gift card at a merchant
- Working knowledge of card network rules (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX) and payment processing platforms
- Experience identifying and resolving transaction errors
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple transactions accurately
- Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with payment processing and reconciliation systems
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and use AI tools to support payment product and reconciliation work

Compensation: The base pay range for this role is $ 52,700-$65,900 annually
Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, qualifications, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
