Marketing Intern in Fargo, North Dakota at Family Wellness LLC

Position Purpose:

The Marketing Intern supports the Marketing & Communications Manager in executing Family Wellness’ communications and marketing strategies. This position offers hands-on experience in promoting wellness-focused programs, events, and services through social media, print, email and digital platforms. The intern will assist with content creation, brand management, community engagement efforts, and administrative tasks while gaining insight into strategic marketing practices within a mission-driven organization. Position is for the 2026–2027 academic year, with potential for summer hours based on performance and organizational needs.

Job Specific Competencies:

· Assist in planning, scheduling, and creating content for social media platforms in alignment with the brand’s tone and voice.

· Support the development and distribution of marketing materials, including flyers, internal signage, newsletters and digital signage.

· Help manage website updates, ensuring timely and accurate information about programs, classes and events.

· Assist with special community and member outreach projects.

· Ensure that all communications follow brand standards and style guidelines.

· Roughly 20 hours per week - Hours are flexible based on class schedules.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education, Experience, & Skills (Minimum Requirement):

Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or a related field. Must have excellent interpersonal relations and communications skills and be detail oriented. Applicant should have strong organizational, writing and problem-solving skills.

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, Word Press and Microsoft Office Products preferred. Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) and scheduling tools preferred. Applicants must maintain a high level of creativity and be able to contribute to a fun, professional and energetic environment.
