Personal Care Assistant - (Female Caregiver)

Location: Lexington Ky
Pay: $18 per hour
Schedule: Monday -Friday 9am-4pm and Saturday 10am-3pm (40 hours)

At Golden Years, compassion is at the heart of everything we do. We’re currently seeking a Personal Care Assistant to provide one-on-one care and meaningful companionship to a client. This role is ideal for someone who leads with empathy, understands the importance of dignity and patience in caregiving, and enjoys creating joy in daily routines.
Client is a double amputee who uses a wheelchair, and would benefit from a caregiver who is outgoing, dependable, patient, consistent, and able to take initiative. He prefers someone who arrives ready to work, takes charge of needed tasks, sets clear boundaries when appropriate, and provides compassionate support.

Home and Client Details
No smoking in the home.
No indoor animals; animals are kept outside.
Home is cluttered.
No other residents live in the home.
Caregiver will need to assist with errands.

Care Needs
Caregiver should be comfortable providing support with:
Meal preparation.
Light housekeeping and cleaning.
Taking out the trash.
Organization and maintaining a safe living environment.
Mobility-related assistance appropriate for a wheelchair user and double amputee.
Errands and transportation-related tasks as needed.
