At PDS Optical, we are committed to delivering exceptional eyewear and outstanding service to our Veterans. We're seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team at the North Jacksonville, FL VA and help us uphold our mission of providing GREAT Veteran CARE!

Position Details:

• Full-time | Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No nights or weekends
• Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to Veterans.
• Assist with duties associated with the daily opening and closing of the store
• Greet and help patients with information necessary to receive their eyewear
• Basic bookkeeping duties associated with tracking patient’s order and recording purchases, collecting payment and other necessary information for each patient

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Optical experience is preferred but not required
• Good computer skills and working knowledge of standard computer equipment
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and customer focused.
