We are looking for a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse who will work closely with clients to determine their rehabilitation needs and to provide individualized treatment by providing structured as well as holistic healing. Supports clients with foundational well-being that develops the skills needed to overcome, heal & grow to sustain long-term sobriety.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for nursing assessment plan, and oversees the medical and psychiatric management of the client coordinating with the attending physician. He/she is also a member of the Treatment Team and provides input into the development of the Master Treatment Plan. He/she functions under the guidance of their State Licensure within the facilities' P&P and in accordance with State and Federal regulations. Maintains open communication lines with facility staff, attending clinicians and physicians, clients, and families. Liaison with community agencies, vendors, and payers of health services.
Hourly Rate:
Up to $45/ per hour
Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Alternating Saturdays - 9am -to 5pm CST
Must be present for group facilitation - Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Alternating Saturdays between 11:15am–12:30pm CST.
What will your day look like? You will:
Assess new patients, review diagnoses, analyze medical test results
Provide medication education to clients
Completes initial history and physical assessment for patients.
Maintain client's clinical record, including documentation of activities performed timely.
Works with clinical and medical team to engage, educate, communicate, and coordinate with clients and their families.
Communicates with insurance companies and pharmacies on behalf of patient when necessary.
Maintain up-to-date education on current addiction treatment trends, including knowledge of Internet and local resources for those with substance abuse.
Administer intramuscular injections such as Vivitrol as needed.
Other tasks as assigned.
What you will need for this position:
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in State of Tennessee.
Minimum one year of professional nursing experience within the past three years in a related field.
MUST have at least 2 years of SUD, Addiction Treatment & Mental Health experience
Must be open/flexible to working days, nights, and weekends, if required.
Organizational Skills to plan patient appointments and meetings timely.
Problem-solving skills to identify shortcomings of care plans and revise them accordingly.
CPR certification.
