This role plays a critical part in delivering expert-level technical support for advanced commercial and industrial water treatment systems. You will act as a key escalation point for complex customer issues, ensuring fast, accurate troubleshooting and resolution across installation, maintenance, and warranty-related topics. The position combines deep technical expertise with customer-facing communication, supporting contractors, partners, and internal teams in a fast-paced environment. You will work across multiple disciplines including mechanical systems, water treatment technologies, and digital service tools. The role requires strong analytical ability to interpret technical documentation and system schematics. It is ideal for a hands-on technical expert who thrives in problem-solving and customer support within mission-critical infrastructure.
- Provide expert technical support for commercial and industrial water treatment systems, including UV, ion exchange, filtration, and reverse osmosis technologies.
- Handle customer inquiries related to troubleshooting, part replacement, system programming, installation, and on-site equipment startup.
- Support logistics and service operations, including shipment tracking, freight inquiries, and resolution of lost or delayed deliveries.
- Manage warranty-related cases and ensure timely resolution in alignment with service standards and company policies.
- Use CRM tools (including Salesforce) to document, track, and manage service requests and technical cases.
- Collaborate with third-party contractors and internal teams to provide accurate technical guidance and support.
- Interpret technical documentation such as wiring diagrams, schematics, and CAD drawings to support diagnostics and solutions.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours technical support as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3–5 years of experience in the water treatment industry or mechanical/field service environments.
- Strong knowledge of water treatment systems, including filtration, UV, ion exchange, and reverse osmosis technologies.
- Experience in technical troubleshooting, service coordination, or project management is highly valued.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to support both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and service management tools.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, call-center-style support environment while collaborating with distributed teams.
- Willingness to participate in rotating on-call support and occasional travel (up to 20%).
