This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Professional Services Engineer based in India.
In this role, you will join a fast-growing security automation environment focused on helping customers modernize and streamline their Security Operations Center (SOC) through advanced orchestration and Agentic AI-driven workflows. You will work directly with enterprise clients to deploy, configure, and optimize a security automation platform that enhances incident response and threat mitigation capabilities. The position combines hands-on technical implementation with customer-facing consulting, requiring both strong engineering depth and the ability to translate complex cybersecurity concepts into practical solutions. You will contribute to building integrations, developing automation playbooks, and supporting architecture design for scalable deployments across cloud and on-prem environments. This role also involves delivering technical training and enabling customers to fully leverage automation capabilities. You will collaborate with global teams in a highly innovative, mission-driven cybersecurity organization. The environment is dynamic, fast-paced, and centered on continuous improvement and impact.
- Deploy, install, configure, and maintain a security automation platform for enterprise customers across diverse environments
- Design and implement SOC and incident response automation playbooks to improve threat detection and remediation workflows
- Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems using Python, JavaScript, and YAML
- Support advanced architecture design for complex deployments across cloud (AKS, EKS, GCP) and on-prem infrastructure
- Deliver technical training sessions, workshops, and certification enablement programs for customers and partners
- Work closely with SOC and security teams to improve incident response processes and automation maturity
- Contribute to troubleshooting, platform optimization, and ongoing customer support for deployed solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams and the broader community to share knowledge and promote security automation best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 2 plus years of experience in Professional Services, SOC operations, incident response, or cybersecurity consulting
- Strong understanding of SOC operations, incident response workflows, and security operations methodologies
- Hands-on experience with Python and working knowledge of RESTful APIs
- Experience with cloud and infrastructure environments such as AKS, EKS, GCP, and on-prem systems
- Familiarity with cybersecurity technologies such as SIEM, IAM, firewalls, proxies, threat intelligence platforms, or malware sandboxing
- Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in security automation, orchestration, or integration development is highly desirable
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
