The Supervisor – Patient Access UHR leads the daily operations of Patient Access and Patient Accounts functions to support an efficient revenue cycle and exceptional patient experience.
You would ensure accurate patient registration, insurance verification, financial clearance, account resolution, regulatory compliance, staff development, and excellent customer service.
This role reports to the Manager/Director of Patient Access or Revenue Cycle.

Essential Job Duties:
• Supervises daily Patient Access and Patient Accounts operations
• Coordinates registration, insurance verification, authorization, and account follow-up activities
• Ensures compliance with hospital policies and federal and state regulations
• Monitors staff productivity, quality, and customer service performance
• Assists with revenue cycle initiatives to improve accuracy, cash collections, and account resolution
• Provides coaching, training, scheduling, and performance feedback to staff
• Collaborates with clinical departments, physicians, payers, and patients to resolve account issues
• Maintains confidentiality and supports Corporate Compliance standards
• Participates in process improvement and departmental goal achievement
• Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous healthcare registration, patient access, patient accounts, or revenue cycle experience required
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and third-party payers
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with patients, providers, and staff
Licenses / Certifications:
• Certification in Patient Access, Revenue Cycle, or Healthcare Financial Management preferred but not required
