We are hiring for a Batcher/Mixer for our Night shift (10.50pm to 07.00am) to help us in our production team. Your main responsibility will be to prepare and accurately mix raw materials.
Job description
Main Activities:
- Cleaning containers, general mixing area, mixers and filling stations for production batchesDisposing of cabin powderGeneral cleaning and housekeeping of your area at all timesPreparing batches by weighing and adding the ingredients to the container according to the mix sheetFamiliarity with source identification numbers and product descriptions used in batch making to ensure proper materials are being used to make batch corrections as requiredOperating the tow motor and lift truckProper operation and interpretation of all scales used in batch weighingLiaise with material controller concerning availability of raw materialsOrganizing and replenishing of raw material supplies in the weigh station area ie. (pigments, resins)Put newly received raw materials away in the warehouse
Qualifications
- High School Diploma1+ years in similar field (manufacturing)Basic Math skillsGood mechanical troubleshooting ability and actual handsSAP an assetExtruder, Mill and mixing operating experience preferred
