Join Our Banquet Team!Are you looking for a hospitality job where no two events are exactly alike? Join the banquet team at Normandy Farm and be part of creating memorable experiences for our guests.
As a Banquet Service Attendant, you’ll help make weddings, celebrations, corporate events, and special occasions run smoothly. From preparing event spaces and maintaining buffets to assisting servers and keeping everything clean and organized, you’ll play an important role behind the scenes and throughout the event.
Starting at $18.00 per hour
What You'll Do- Help set up and break down banquet events, including tables, chairs, portable bars, umbrellas, tents, buffet equipment, linens, and other event items.
- Maintain buffet and food stations and transport food from the kitchen to the event space.
- Assist servers by clearing trays of used plates, glassware, and flatware and returning them to the kitchen.
- Follow banquet event orders and room diagrams to ensure each event is set up correctly.
- Keep banquet rooms, hallways, storage areas, and service areas clean, organized, and ready for guests.
- Set up, stock, and maintain service and work areas throughout the event.
- Maintain banquet equipment and supplies, including linens, chairs, dishes, glassware, flatware, and decorations.
- Communicate with the Banquet Captain and management to help ensure smooth event operations and excellent guest service.
- Assist other departments as needed to provide an exceptional experience for our guests.
- Report equipment or maintenance concerns to a supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 18 years of age or older
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and a desire to provide great hospitality
- Previous banquet, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality experience is a plus — but we are willing to train the right person!
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional and friendly attitude
- Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events is required
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Professional appearance and ability to follow uniform standards
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently push, pull, carry, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and more than 50 pounds with assistance
