As a Software Development Engineer II, you will help build and scale critical products supporting the agency lifecycle, from account creation and onboarding to subscriptions and billing. You will work across both frontend and backend systems, developing scalable APIs, services, integrations, and modern user experiences. Your work will directly contribute to reliable workflows used by a large global community of agencies and businesses. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and fellow Engineers to take features from initial requirements through production. The role offers exposure to microservices, cloud-native development, event-driven architectures, and modern data platforms. You will also leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering efficiency while maintaining strong standards for security, reliability, and code quality.

• Build and deliver full-stack features across Agency Module, Agency Onboarding, and Platform Billing products.
• Design and develop scalable backend services, APIs, and integrations across internal microservices and third-party platforms such as Stripe, with a focus on reliability, security, and performance.
• Develop performant frontend experiences for agency management, onboarding, and billing workflows using modern frameworks, component-driven architecture, and effective state management.
• Own features end-to-end, from understanding business requirements and technical planning through development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
• Use AI-first coding practices and tools such as LLMs, Cursor, and Claude Code to write, refactor, test, and debug code efficiently while maintaining appropriate reliability and security safeguards.
• Design data models and develop efficient queries across data stores including MongoDB, ClickHouse, and Elasticsearch.
• Participate throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements analysis, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
• Write clean, efficient, secure, maintainable, and testable code with appropriate unit and integration test coverage.
• Use logs, metrics, monitoring, and tracing to investigate production issues and improve overall system reliability.
• Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, incident resolution, documentation, and operational support, including on-call responsibilities where applicable.
• Apply engineering best practices across security, scalability, maintainability, testing, documentation, and production readiness.

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience building and delivering production-grade full-stack applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript for backend development, including APIs and service integrations; NestJS experience is preferred.
• Strong frontend development experience with Vue.js, React, or Angular, with Vue.js preferred, along with a solid understanding of component-based development and state management.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with microservices and service-to-service integrations.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB or similar databases, including data modeling, querying, and performance optimization considerations.
• Experience with asynchronous and event-driven application patterns using technologies such as GCP Pub/Sub, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar tools.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot production issues across frontend, backend, databases, and integrations using logs, monitoring, and related diagnostic tools.
• Good understanding of software engineering practices, including automated testing, code reviews, Git, CI/CD, and production deployment.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and the ability to integrate them effectively into everyday engineering workflows.
• Strong problem-solving, ownership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to independently take features from requirements through implementation and production.
• Preferred experience with AI tools, open-source contributions, internal engineering platforms, or technical engineering blogs.
• Preferred experience with modern frontend frameworks and full-stack web application development.
• Familiarity with cloud-native development, particularly within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem.
