Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Final Assembly Lead to support our Shipping and Final Assembly operations. This is a working lead position responsible for coordinating daily activities, providing technical guidance, promoting safety and quality, and assisting team members while actively participating in assembly and shipping operations.

- Day Shift (4 x 10s): Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Swing Shift (4 x 10s): Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM
- Weekend Shift (3 x 12s): Friday through Sunday, 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Coach, train, and provide technical assistance to Final Assembly and Shipping team members.
- Serve as a resource for employees by sharing best practices and troubleshooting production issues.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Communicate production priorities and support execution of daily work assignments directed by production leadership.
- Lead by example through a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to company values.
- Perform and lead final product assembly activities in accordance with work instructions and quality standards.
- Build shipping pallets, crate products, and prepare finished goods for shipment.
- Clean, inspect, package, and stage products for customer delivery.
- Verify completed work meets quality and customer specifications.
- Complete required production, inspection, and shipping documentation accurately and on time.
- Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Report safety concerns, incidents, near misses, and equipment issues promptly.
- Participate in safety meetings and training activities.
- Ensure proper use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Work collaboratively with production, shipping, quality, and other departments to meet company objectives.
- Assist other departments as needed to support workflow and customer commitments.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to read and accurately use measuring tools in both metric and imperial systems.
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following established procedures.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to operate company vehicles as needed.
- Ability to wear required PPE and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in final assembly, manufacturing, shipping, or production leadership roles.
- Experience reading CAD or Autodesk Inventor drawings.
- Forklift certification or material-handling experience.
- Work is performed primarily on a manufacturing shop floor.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and material handling.
- Regular lifting of materials up to 35 pounds and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to maneuver materials and equipment throughout the workday.
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing priorities.
- Required PPE must be worn at all times on the production floor (provided by Fulcrum).
