This role is responsible for coordinating and optimizing software release processes within a fast-paced technology environment.

The Associate, Release Management will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of software releases while ensuring smooth collaboration across technical teams and stakeholders. This role focuses on maintaining release quality, improving processes, and supporting reliable delivery within a SaaS environment.
- Develop, maintain, and coordinate release schedules to ensure timely deployments and alignment with product commitments.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, QA, support teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure release requirements and operational controls are properly addressed.
- Coordinate testing, staging, and production environments to support successful deployments.
- Prepare, review, and manage release notes, change logs, and deployment documentation.
- Communicate release updates clearly to internal teams and external customers.
- Establish and improve release management best practices, including automation opportunities, deployment strategies, and rollback processes.
- Monitor post-release activities, support troubleshooting efforts, and collaborate with incident management teams when needed.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation across release operations.
- Support additional operational initiatives and responsibilities as assigned.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in software delivery processes, technical coordination, and cross-functional collaboration. They should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment where attention to detail, communication, and process improvement are essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software release management, software delivery, or related technology roles.
- Experience working in SaaS environments and managing software deployment processes.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and version control systems.
- Familiarity with DevOps and release automation tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of major cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, as well as containerized deployment technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools such as Jira or Azure Boards.
- Understanding of ITIL or other release and change management frameworks; certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or CSM are a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical updates into clear stakeholder communications.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a customer-focused, fast-paced environment.
- Experience with scripting or automation using languages/tools such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is preferred.
- Competitive annual salary range of $90,000 - $130,000 USD.
