Sr. Field Superintendent - Electrical in Center, North Dakota at Applied Digital Corporation

Position Summary:

Applied Digital is seeking a highly experienced Senior Owner’s Rep Electrical Superintendent to monitor and provide leadership across electrical construction operations on large-scale infrastructure projects. Serving as the owner’s field representative, this role is responsible for overseeing complex electrical systems execution, driving coordination across trades, and ensuring delivery against safety, quality, and schedule expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day electrical construction activities across one or more project scopes
• Oversee installation of complex electrical systems including MV/LV distribution, substations, generators, UPS, and critical power infrastructure
• Direct and coordinate electrical subcontractors, field teams, and vendors
• Review electrical design documents, drawings, and specifications for constructability and compliance
• Drive construction schedules, identify risks, and resolve escalated field issues
• Coordinate closely with mechanical, controls, and general construction teams for integrated delivery
• Champion site safety culture and ensure adherence to all safety standards
• Lead support for inspections, commissioning, energization, and turnover activities
• Provide detailed reporting to leadership on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in electrical construction with superintendent-level leadership experience on complex projects
• Deep understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and mission-critical infrastructure
• Demonstrated success managing large subcontractor teams and fast-paced environments
• Strong ability to interpret and coordinate electrical drawings and specifications
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Willingness to work onsite and travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in data centers or other mission-critical environments
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, IEEE, local codes)
• Experience leading commissioning and system startup activities
• Experience working on large-scale, multi-site, or hyperscale construction programs
