Regional Sales Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Regional Sales Manager based in India.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to drive business growth across a strategic regional market. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will manage enterprise sales opportunities, develop strong partner relationships, and expand market presence through a combination of direct and channel-driven strategies. You will work with customers, partners, and internal teams to deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency and digital transformation. The position requires a consultative approach, strong commercial ownership, and the ability to manage complex sales cycles from opportunity creation to closure. Accountabilities:

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for growing revenue, developing strategic partnerships, and managing enterprise sales activities across the assigned territory. This role requires ownership of the full sales cycle, strong market engagement, and close collaboration with internal stakeholders to maximize business opportunities.

  • Manage sales opportunities and customer accounts across assigned regions, industries, and territories.
  • Build and expand partner ecosystems by engaging channel partners, identifying new opportunities, and supporting partner-led growth initiatives.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to generate new customer acquisition, expand existing relationships, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, webinars, and training sessions for customers and partners.
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles, including opportunity qualification, proposal development, negotiations, and deal closure.
  • Support responses to RFPs, RFIs, and proof-of-concept requests while ensuring customer requirements are addressed effectively.
  • Collaborate with sales engineering, marketing, professional services, renewals, and internal sales teams to align strategies and deliver successful outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, forecasting, and customer engagement activities using CRM tools.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and inform business strategies.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as required.
Requirements

The ideal candidate is a results-driven sales leader with strong experience in B2B software sales, enterprise solutions, and partner-driven growth. You should have a proven ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders, manage complex sales processes, and consistently achieve revenue targets.

  • 8+ years of quota-carrying sales experience within B2B software, SaaS, or enterprise technology environments.
  • Proven success selling to mid-market and enterprise customers through both direct and channel sales models.
  • Strong understanding of consultative and strategic selling methodologies, with experience managing complex buying processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to create pipeline, close large opportunities, and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical and executive audiences.
  • Experience delivering software demonstrations and explaining technical concepts clearly to customers and partners.
  • Knowledge of ERP, WMS, MES, supply chain, automation, barcode, RFID, or related enterprise technologies is preferred.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and using data-driven approaches to manage sales performance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business administration, international business, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Fluent English communication skills are required; additional language skills are considered an advantage.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 35% for customer meetings, partner engagements, and industry events.
