Account Placement Specialist in India at Jobgether
Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Placement Specialist based in India.
The Account Placement Specialist will manage the end-to-end client engagement and talent placement process, combining sales expertise, recruiting skills, and rapid decision-making. You will lead discovery calls, identify client needs, and present qualified candidates in real time to accelerate successful placements. The role requires strong judgment, the ability to assess candidate-client fit quickly, and confidence in closing opportunities while client interest is high. You will maintain a ready-to-deploy talent pool, coordinate seamlessly with internal teams, and anticipate potential challenges before they affect the placement process. Working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment, you will rely on clear communication, proactive coordination, and efficient execution to deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Client discovery and qualification: Lead discovery calls to understand client requirements, clarify expectations, and identify the skills and profiles needed for successful placements.
- Candidate sourcing and assessment: Use applicant tracking systems (ATS) and internal talent databases to identify suitable candidates, conduct interviews, and evaluate their fit against client needs.
- Live candidate presentations: Present qualified, vetted candidates during client calls, providing timely introductions that demonstrate the value of the service and support faster hiring decisions.
- Sales and deal closure: Manage the sales process from initial discovery through closing, identify buying signals, propose clear next steps before calls conclude, and document agreements and deal updates within 30–60 minutes.
- Talent pool management: Maintain an organized, up-to-date pool of available candidates categorized by role, industry, and availability, enabling the rapid presentation of two to three relevant profiles even when requirements are initially broad.
- Candidate availability and contingency planning: Confirm candidate availability 24 hours and 30 minutes before scheduled calls, identify backup candidates in advance, and proactively mitigate no-shows or last-minute changes.
- Post-sale coordination: Complete compliance requirements and formalize candidate matching after deals close, keeping Customer Success Management (CSM) and Talent Acquisition (TA) teams informed about onboarding progress.
- Cross-functional communication: Maintain accurate, real-time updates in Discord or similar collaboration tools, ensuring smooth handoffs, clear ownership, and visibility across all stakeholders.
- Sales and closing experience: Demonstrated experience personally managing outbound sales or discovery conversations through to deal closure, rather than simply qualifying and handing off leads.
- Recruiting and sourcing expertise: Practical experience sourcing, screening, and assessing candidates, with the ability to deliver suitable profiles on the same day rather than relying exclusively on lengthy recruitment pipelines.
- Rapid execution and adaptability: Ability to assess situations in real time, improvise during client conversations, and prepare or brief a candidate within 10–15 minutes when needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Confidence leading client calls, understanding customer expectations, evaluating candidate fit, and building trust with both clients and candidates.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills: Ability to manage competing priorities, maintain an accurate candidate pipeline, anticipate potential disruptions, and develop backup plans before issues arise.
- Responsiveness and ownership: A proactive, action-oriented working style, with the ability to respond within minutes, make sound decisions under pressure, and follow through on commitments.
- Digital collaboration skills: Comfort working in remote, asynchronous environments using Discord, Slack, ATS platforms, and other tools for coordination and documentation.
Nice to have:
- Previous experience in staffing, recruitment, talent placement, or B2B services sales.
- Experience maintaining a warm pool of prequalified, readily available candidates.
- Familiarity with Discord or Slack as a central source of truth for team communication and workflow management.
- A proven ability to anticipate and prevent operational issues, including candidate no-shows, scheduling changes, and declining client engagement.
- Compensation: Monthly salary ranging from $600 to $1,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Remote work: Opportunity to work remotely from India.
- Full-time opportunity: A full-time position within a team combining sales, recruiting, and talent acquisition.
- Ownership and impact: Direct responsibility for the client journey, candidate matching, and deal closure, with opportunities to make an immediate impact on business outcomes.
- Dynamic work environment: A fast-paced setting that values independent judgment, adaptability, proactive communication, and efficient execution.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Opportunities to work closely with sales, talent acquisition, and customer success professionals.
