Morton County Lower Heart Water Resource District Board

The Board is responsible for making decisions on issues involving the upkeep and improvements to the Levee System protecting Mandan from Heart River Flooding, also on the upkeep and improvements to the interior drainage system. The Morton County Lower Heart Water Recourses District meets the second Thursday of each month.

Any qualified elector of the Morton County Lower Heart Water Resource District is eligible for appointment. There are three appointments available, each for a 3-year term expiring 12/31/2029. Deadline to apply is December 15, 2026.
