Entertainment Runner - On Call in Northfield, Ohio at Northfield Park Racino

As the Entertainment Runner, you will help provide top notch hospitality to the artists and crews of Center Stage. You will work directly with the tours to coordinate show day logistics and ensure their needs are met.

Industry knowledge/experience is nice but not required. We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule who is personable, adaptable and detail oriented. The best candidate for this role has a good knowledge of the local area, is comfortable driving our company vehicles and behaves professionally when interacting with artists and their teams.

Schedule This position is on call, as needed. You will not work all shows.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Transporting artists and crew between the venue, airport, hotel, and other designated locations
• Shopping for bus stock, making laundry runs, placing and picking up restaurant orders and other various tasks assigned by tour managers and artists on show days
• Tracking mileage and maintaining property vehicles by keeping them clean and presentable and fueling them as needed
• Assisting the Entertainment Manager with backstage operations day-of-show by preparing and tidying dressing rooms, stocking fridges, moving furniture, setting up dining tables, assembling step-&-repeat, etc.
• Coordinating directly with tour’s team and providing receipts to settle expenses

Performs other job-related duties as requested

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

Must have a valid state issued driver’s license with good driving record

Adept knowledge of the area and local stores/restaurants

Tolerance of flashing/bright lights and loud sounds required

Must be able to physically handle all types of food
