Framer - Mill in Bristol, Indiana at C&B CUSTOM MODULAR INCORPORATED

Position Objective: The Framer – Mill is responsible for fabricating and assembling structural framing components in the shop to support modular projects. This role focuses on precision cutting, measuring, and pre-assembly of materials to ensure quality, consistency, and readiness for installation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and assemble wood or engineered materials according to specifications and shop drawings
• Operate saws, nail guns, and other mill equipment safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and production schedules
• Inspect materials and completed components for accuracy and quality
• Maintain production pace to meet project deadlines and output goals
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and shop protocols
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED
• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience
• Previous construction experience

The role involves handling heavy materials, operating machinery, and working in a shop environment with noise, dust, and moving equipment. Good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks safely and efficiently are essential.
