We are currently looking for an experienced Software Engineering Manager to support our Engineering Team.
In this role you will lead and inspire our team of backend and frontend engineers working on our Management Software for Transit. Your role is critical in driving technical excellence, fostering collaboration, and ensuring successful product delivery.
What you will do:

• Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Technical Strategy: Define and communicate the technical vision and roadmap for the team, driving innovation and excellence.
• Product Delivery: Oversee product engineering planning, execution, and delivery to ensure timely and high-quality releases.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, customer success teams, and stakeholders to align technical initiatives with business objectives.
• Talent Development: Identify skill gaps, provide training opportunities, and encourage continuous learning and growth within the team.

What we are looking for:

• Extensive software development experience, including leadership roles.
• Proficiency in Software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.)
• Experience in team management and performance evaluation.
• Expertise in Full stack technical decision-making, build vs buy decisions.
• Experience with Object oriented programming languages: C#, .NET Framework
• Expertise in Relational (SQL) database technologies
• Knowledge of Transport protocols such as MQTT, HTTPS and networking technologies.
• Experience with Web technologies, such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML5
• Experience with cloud environments, event driven microservices architectures
• Experience implementing DevOps tools and practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing global engineering teams
• Experience building IoT applications and/or products for transportation industry
• Experience integrating with software embedded on devices (such as IoT devices)
• Building and scaling AI/ML applications for B2B market
• Experience working with hardware devices and embedded software
